- I don't usually read romance novels (too much sex in many cases) but I may check out these. An author who has lived a full life usually brings more depth to the characters. I also like the fact that he has female family members give his material the once-over.

- The easiest way to remember when you use "its" vs. "it's" is a phrase I made up: "The possessive doesn't." Shared that one years ago with an office mate who always got confused, and once she figured out what it meant, it stuck with her, which of course is why I wrote it that way.
